Why stainless steel?

Stainless steel is inert. It doesn't shed microplastics, doesn't flake non-stick coatings into your food, and doesn't degrade with heat or acid. It's the same material surgeons use because it stays neutral against anything it touches — including what you eat.

What can I grind with it?

Whole spices (peppercorns, cumin, coriander), dried herbs, dried greens, and seeds. The geometry handles small hard seeds without slipping and won't crush leafy material into paste.

How do I clean it?

Disassemble, rinse in warm water, dry. No detergents, no dishwasher (heat cycles dull the cut edges over time). Five seconds of care after each use is the difference between five years and forever.
